Cheyenne - Dakota's Prairie Rose Registration #: 0166313 Gender/Type: Mare Color/Pattern: Palamino Solid Date of Birth: March 18 2004     Measurements: 15.3 hh Description: Dakota's Prairie Rose (DBJ's First Premier x Red Rose Lady Marigold) or as we call her, Cheyenne, has been a great horse ever since she was a foal! We raised Cheyenne on the farm and has been used for trail riding and some showmanship. Her unusual dappling in her palomino color definitely has caught the eyes of many. As a two year old, Cheyenne won purple ribbons in 4-H which allowed her to go to the South Dakota State Fair where she won second in her class. As of 2014 however, Cheyenne was injured in her left eye which left her blind. Because of this, we are not able to show her anymore, but will continue working on her trust with us on that side as she is still rideable. So far we have raised one beautiful colt and two fillies out of her and we hope to get more handsome foals out of her in the future.
